Question 2 about Adium... transparency?

I've seen a lot of pictures with the chat lists (and possible message windows) being transparents and whatnot.. thought that was pretty cool. How do you accomplish that?

Adium>Preferences>Apperence. there is a slider right there. 🙄 😎 😱
