I am trying to find a graphics app/photo editor that can let me eyedrop sample an area and give me the RGB or CMYK color value of that color.

    Preferably free.

    Anyone have any insight?

I used to use GraphicConverter for this back in the day...

Doesn't Apple's Digital Color Meter.app (in utilities folder) come with the OS?

Yeah, that's what I found after I acted as though Thorsten had stopped making it.

    Duhhhhh.....

He does offer something on his website that the version on the MAS doesn't: a free shareware trial. Using it now.

    For what it's worth.
