If you activate Siri via the AirPods, do the screen on the iPhone turn on as if Siri is activate via the iPhone/lock screen?

Or does it only turn on IF the phone is in your hand?

When you're using the AirPods and you double tap to activate Siri, it also activates the display regardless of the lock screen.
