Question about Apple Cinema Displays

Just a simple question; will you be able to tell the difference between the pixel densities of the 24" and the 27" Cinema Displays? In other words, would you notice the slightly improved quality of the 27" display over the 24" display?

I use a 27" iMac (same panel so far as I know) at work and home, and when working on a friend's 24" a few days ago I didn't really notice much difference. Side by side you could no doubt tell, but at the least it's not dramatic.

I've got a 24-inch ACD as well, picked it up off craigslist for $399 (the seller actually gave me a dollar back when I gave him the $400 - ha!); prior to selling my 27" ACD (due to spatial needs) I did an ol' side-by-side examination. Certainly, there were no dramatic differences - why should there be? Aside from increased screen real estate and slightly smaller text/icons on the 27" - both monitors were comparably similar, and excellent.

Where do you live? I am in Canada, more specifically around Toronto, and I can't find ANY 24" ACDs let alone at $400!
I so desperately want the 24" ACD for my MBA
Any ideas of places where I could buy it for a good price? I may also be able to buy stuff in the states because I have relatives in Michigan that I visit every summer

1) Where am I? Situated near NYC, so that helps.
2) Where to buy? I got lucky on Craigslist, can't really give you concrete time or place.

ebay has the odd 24" ACD up for auction. I just checked on the US and Canadian site. But they don't come cheap. $400 is an exception, I would say.
I paid €560 ($650 I guess) for mine last year on German ebay. Pretty much the standard price there. But it is well worth the money, I love it with my MBA 11".
