Good morning, folks! Saturday, I traded my 15 Plus into the Apple Store in Knoxville, TN for a new 16 Plus. My phone was inspected and the trade-in accepted in the store. Still though, the full price of the 16 Plus is still on my Apple Card and the $430 for my trade-in hasn't been credited back on my card. The last time when my trade-in was accepted, the trade-in credit was processed quickly. Anyone having issues with a slow releasing of the held amount on your card? This is the first time I have traded in the store, does that slow down the process?

I just did a trade in yesterday - the full charge for the phone, and the full credit for the trade in, are different transactions. In fact, mine are on different cards.

Thanks for your reply. So, I'm a bit confused, are you saying it's normal for my trade-in credit to not be applied back to me yet?

I personally am not sure what’s “normal” in terms of timeline. All I know is that my trade in credit is pending on the card it’s on

Thanks. I assume mine is pending also, but Apple doesn't seem to provide any sort of status that is visible to the customer.
