I ordered a 2m cord for my iPP, so it’s not teetering on the edge of the desk or table when it needs to be charging while in use.

I got it today, and it is noticeably thicker than the 1m one that came with my iPP.

It’s an Apple cord in Apple packaging, but I did order it from Amazon. Does anyone know if Apple’s 2m cord is thicker than the 1m?

Yes, it is and I got mine from Apple direct.

Yes it is thicker and stiffer than the regular 1m cord. I purchased mine direct from Apple.

As I understand it - it’s the laws of physics. A longer wire has more resistance and a thicker wire has less resistance. So, they make the longer wires thicker to keep the overall resistance consistent.
