Question about AT&T 3G Sim Card

So I'll be getting the new iPhone and giving my wife my old one. She currently has a Blackjack from AT&T and it has a 3G Sim Card in it. Will it be an issue if she trys to put a 3G Sim card in the first gen iPhone that is not 3G capable?

Pull the SIM from your current iPhone. You will find that it is already a 3G SIM... 😉
