iPhone 7/Plus Question about battery replacement

ok so I have an iPhone 7 and my battery is degraded so I take it into Apple for the $29 battery replacement. Does my phone lose the water resistance after that??

Apple would follow their guidelines to ensure the water resistance is not compromised during the re-assembly process.
