Question about Boot Icon (Apple Logo)

Is there way to Mod this? i tried bootX or whatever it was called (out of date doesnt work on 10.4.11) i have a MacMini i received from work and wanted to put my own graphic, i ahve it to the right specs (size, color/resolution etc) i just nee dto know how to exactly change it, i tried looking in the core service folder in the System/Library/ folders but no luck

ive did massive google searches and nothing seemed to show up.


just looking to mod up and edit my mac alittle bit

okay tried it but what is a good way to make an icon?

i had my icons under 2kb with the same exact colours in the Sample Boot images folder. but i dont understand why they wont work or theyre incompatible?
