This guy is selling a 3G S. He owns a 3G and just renewed his contract & got the 3G S for $199 so he could sell it on eBay and make some cash.

My question is this: I'm a current 3G owner. If I buy this 3G S from him and get it in the mail, and I just drop in my SIM card, am I done? Or do I need to activate via iTunes? And if so, will Apple see this and automatically renew my contract and screw me over?

You will always have to activate via iTunes when a new SIM is installed.
