Question about buying television seasons in iTunes.

If I go and buy The Walking Dead season 3 (when it's available), how quickly will iTunes release the episode for me to download after it airs of television?

Let's say the premiere of the first episode on television is October 12. Will I be able to download/watch that episode on October 12? Or will I need to wait days/weeks before it's added?

I don't want to sound like an ass, but, season 2 of the walking dead is posted in its entirety on iTunes. It ended a while ago.

Season 3 comes out October 14th and with the season pass you can expect the episodes to show up within 24 hours after the episode airs on television.

From my experience buying season passes, new episodes are usually ready for download the next day. Apple will also send you an email saying that a new episode is ready to download as well.
