So I was setting up my harddrive to the AirPort and I was wondering about how to ensure that not just anyone can access my files.

As of the moment I just have it at this...

So dose this mean that in order to gain access to the harddrive that is connected to the AirPort you need to be connected to my internet connection (meaning that you have the password to my interent in order to have access to these files).

Yes, in order for anyone to access you hard drive, they would have to be connected to your wireless network and have the password for the shared disk. Just make sure that the shared disk password is different than the wireless password.
