Hello, I'm planning my purchases carefully now that the updates have been released. I have two perfectly good displays that I would like to continue to use with a 2012 mid-level (quad-core) mini. Could someone tell me whether the following plan will work?

I would use the hdmi port with the included hdmi-to-dvi adaptor to run a samsung monitor (it's a 4:3 format, can't remember the resolution right now but it's probably 1280:960). Then I would use the thunderbolt port to attach an external storage (undecided as of now), and daisy-chain from that device's other thunderbolt port to my 30" cinema display (2560:1600) via the mini displayPort to dual-link DVI adaptor, which would also require a USB port on the mini if it works the way it does on my late-2009 MBP. Does that sound feasible?

I also need one USB port to connect my audio interface (Mbox 2), another for an iLok stick that contains audio licences, and another for a Vienna stick which contains other audio licences. This means all 4 USB ports would be taken up whenever I'm working on audio... I think the Mbox 2 requires a direct connection to the computer, but would the two dongles work from a USB hub? or maybe from the additional USB ports on an Apple Keyboard (the one with numeric keypad)?

Thanks. I already got bitten when the new external superdrive I bought didn't work on my MBP (whose optical drive is broken), so I really want to make sure I'm not buying anything that won't work.
