iPad Pro Question about folding the Leather Smart Cover.

Hi

When I fold the leather Smart Cover into a stand, do I fold it do the leather side rests on the flat surface or the microfiber side?

Felt side down seems to recline more than the leather side. I tend to fold it leather side down as to keep the screen-side of the cover clean. Also, the leather is more resilient.

I never got why Apple designed it so the felt side rests on the surface, just opens it up for debris to scratch the screen
