maybe so. i guess it's good if posting here is all your doing. i can't really use it at work, and at home i'm always doing more than one thing at a time

well i mean, if you are using forum spy, then go do something out of the room, come back, and forum spy has stopped.

that's just one example.

but i'm not saying forum spy is a waste......i do use it sometimes

I've only had Forum Spy normally stop from being idle.

You might want to enable thread subscriptions as well when you use Forum Spy.

New posts can be helpful but once again you have to keep making a new search.

I still find using thread subscriptions in conjunction with Forum Spy to be more efficient.

New posts is only fast the first time. Forum Spy allows a constant stream of thread updates without the need to refresh the page.

i really don't hit the refresh....i just move on to another forum, and then come back later

Since almost all the images would be in the cache, it'd be pretty quick. I can have up to a hundred tabs open at any one time for MacRumors, using Safari.

The real problem with Forum Spy is that, much of the time, the left hand column just says 'mad jew'😉
