maybe so. i guess it's good if posting here is all your doing. i can't really use it at work, and at home i'm always doing more than one thing at a time
well i mean, if you are using forum spy, then go do something out of the room, come back, and forum spy has stopped.
that's just one example.
but i'm not saying forum spy is a waste......i do use it sometimes
You might want to enable thread subscriptions as well when you use Forum Spy.i still don't use Forum Spy. just doesn't work for me. New Posts all the way.
New posts can be helpful but once again you have to keep making a new search.

Same here. Forum Spy is just soooo sloooow.
I still find using thread subscriptions in conjunction with Forum Spy to be more efficient.I thought that was what User CP was for...
New posts is only fast the first time. Forum Spy allows a constant stream of thread updates without the need to refresh the page.
i really don't hit the refresh....i just move on to another forum, and then come back later

That'd be a lot of tabs for me.
When Safari is at 1GB of RAM. Only 62MB to go.
Since almost all the images would be in the cache, it'd be pretty quick. I can have up to a hundred tabs open at any one time for MacRumors, using Safari.
The real problem with Forum Spy is that, much of the time, the left hand column just says 'mad jew'
Right now is a pretty good example!
