question about front row

ok so my roommate and i both have macs, and whenever one of us tries to use the remote for front row it ends up doing the action to both computers. is there any way to make a remote only target one computer?
 
pair the remotes

hold down the menu key and press either the fast foward button or the play pause button for about 6 seconds
