Yes I think it appears in the playlists. No idea why though. Leopard's FR is pretty poor.

Plug it in and try it out. Not sure what the difference is though; do you have tunes on your iPod that aren't on your computer?

I just got my macbook, so all of my music is on my iPod and not the macbook.
