Hey everyone, my connection is about 2Mb but as we know, the time capsule does not include QoS and if I was to get one I would like it so I can still play Xbox Live without other ruining the online experiance so what im wondering is.

If I connect the other laptops to the Guest network feature, does this feature limit the total available bandwidth or does it give them the whole lot when Im not on?

I ask this as I know the BT FON feature does a similar thing of only allowing a max of 512KBps to be used

Are there no TC or AE users who could test this out for me.

All you would have to do is join a guest network and then run a broadband speed test and see if it is still giving you the full speed?

Just tried this. I have a TC and an AExpress. I connected one machine to my Guest Network and started up Netflix. While it was playing a movie i used my Air to run the speed test and got 25ms Ping with 5Mbps down and up so it's pretty much still full speed for me.

Thanks very much mate, guess that option is out the window now:(

If only apple would include QoS
