NoIconShadowsiPhone4
Is this for iBlank?
two questions actually, anyone know of a way on 4.2.1 to remove the icon shadows that are underneath the apps
also
since I jailbroke on 4.2.1 i no longer have shadows when i touch my apps... anyone know what causes this?
ok i figured the shadow icons out, but still can't figure out why I have no shadows when I touch my apps... anyone?
Did you remove any images in the SpringBoard.app folder?
nope, just restored through pkgbackup and hasn't worked since.... also tried unchecking everything in winterboard but that didnt work either
Can you check if IconDarkeningOverlay@2x.png is inside the SpringBoard.app folder?

nope, strangely it's not.... hmm, does it not come with 4.2.1 lol
Has anyone made a working winterboard theme for this in 4.2.1 to remove the icon shadows? I tried the using the instructions from the ^ website above but it did not work. I also tried renaming the file SBDockMask@2x~iphone.png but still had no luck. If anyone makes a working winterboard theme for this can you please post it? Thanks
The ones you have to rename are called WallpaperIconShadow@2x~iphone.png and wallpapericondock~iphone@2x or something along those lines
They are in the springboard.app folder

Sorry for the dumb question, but rename them to what?
I renamed them WallpaperIconShadow@~iphonepng.bak and WallpaperIconShadow@2x~iphonepng.bak. Gavernty's advice worked perfectly and now I don't have annoying icon shadows anymore.
The files are in /System/Library/CoreServices/Springboard.app
