So I'm trying to sell my old macbook pro, and right now i have it running snow leopard. I was thinking that the best option in dealing with selling with it would be use the cds it came with and reinstall the operating system which would be tiger.

My question is that if i use these cds

when it's all said and done will there be no applications installed?

I know that with my new macbook pro it comes with 2 cds but one of them is for all the applications the computer comes with.

Also, is there another way to keep snow leopard installed but like wipe the computer and make it basically appear new?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

The disks you show in the image are system restore disks. They only work with the specific model they came with. They do include iLife though.

Just "Macbook Pro" doesn't mean it would work with your macbook pro.

They're the ones that came with the computer originally so I could restore it to those. I'd rather keep snow leopard though and just clean the system so it appears new. Do you know if there's a way besides just deleting apps and what not.
