Does anyone know if simply having the Smart Keyboard on a 12.9" iPad Pro causes faster battery drain? I noticed ever since I got the Smart Keyboard, my battery tends to drain faster. I mean even when I'm not using the keyboard and just have the case connected to the smart connector - does it still use power even when it's not folded out in typing mode?

Ive had my Smart Keyboard since December and use my pro as my main computing device. I split use 50 50 between keyboard and no keyboard. I've never noticed this problem at all. Battery life seems to be the same either way. So if yours is really that bad you may want to bring in the Smart Keyboard so they can see if it's malfunctioning.
