Question about iTunes 7.4 and restoring

So if I already used jailbreak on my phone, and I want to restore in using iTunes 7.4 will I have the issue with the reboot thingy? Or does it only do the reboot thingy when you try to use jailbreak after restoring your iPhone in iTunes 7.4?
