Question about iTunes match and iOS devices

Hi,
So I've upgraded my entire library to the 256kbps versions of my songs and now I'd like to put those songs onto my iPhone and iPad, but I'm not too sure how to do it. Can I put them on my iOS devices by plugging it into iTunes, and then turn iTunes match after that, or do I need to turn iTunes match and download each song over again onto my device? Thanks.
 
Good gravy! iTunes Match questions a plenty lately lol Just turn on iTunes Match on the iOS device and download them. Even over 3G it's pretty quick.
