I recently got iTunes match after having a mix of purchased, burned from CD, Apple Music, and downloaded music in my library. It spent a few hours going through my library and "getting info on my library," but I'm not sure it actually did anything.

I added the "iCloud Status" column and some of my CDs show "matched" some show "uploaded". Also, some of the tracks on albums have new artwork now, which is really annoying and inconsistent, and some of my explicit version of songs have changed to clean.

I guess I just don't really know how iTunes Match works... Does "matched" mean the song was matched with a HQ version and "uploaded" mean it was actually swapped in my library?
Or is there a certain way I should re-download the matched tracks and delete my old ones?

Thanks for any help!

Matched means it was matched to an iTunes 256kbps AAC track
Uploaded means iTunes doesn't recognize it and is uploading it at an up to maximum quality of 256kbps AAC
