Hi all.

Sorry if this is a bit of a silly question lol. My sister's white MacBook was stolen, so we've ordered her a new one. Seeing as her new MacBook will ship with leopard, we were wondering if it would be possible to sell or give away the original leopard discs that came with her old (stolen) Mac, as she won't have any use for them anymore? I mean, would these discs be compatible with other macs? And more importantly, is this allowed? We don't want to break any of Apple's T&C's so just wanted to check before we did anything. Any help is appreciated, and thanks. 🙂

Technically, the discs are labeled that they are part of a hardware bundle and can only be transferred along with the hardware. Of course, check eBay and you'll find tons of people selling such restore discs.

The discs will work on any machine from that model of MacBook.
