I want to get an mac and the mac pro seems very upgradable.
I was wondering if I got a mac pro, could I install any graphics card into it? Or am I stuck with the cards apple offer?
Also with ram, HDD as well.

thanks

You can use any card in Windows.

You can use six cards in OS X: 7300, X1900, Quadro 4500, HD 2600, 8800 GT, Quadro 5600

People say that the HD 3870 will be available soon, but given Apple's lack of ever adding a graphics option after a product's release, I'm more than skeptical.

Does it work this way?
Like say I buy the mac pro with the stock 2600 and add in another cards for windows. Both cards in it at the same time. Will I have to take out one card to run the other os? Or can I have the two cards in and theyll work with either windows or os. Because if thats the case then i'll be fine with it because ill only do gaming on windows.
