The default font in Mail is Helvetica (black, size - 12). It's nice, but a little too small. So I went to the fonts and colors preferences option and changed the font from 12 to 14. But now, all of my sent emails (as well as all the emails in the inbox, etc.) have turned to that size. If I compose an email now that the font has changed, will they receive it in size 14? Also, I noticed that if I sent an email in 14 font, and change it back to 12, the email in Mail goes back to 12.

I'm sort of confused as to whether this option is for just my screen or if I'm actually sending it in that size.

BTW, under "fonts and colors", the thing I changed was the "message font".
