Question about MBP packaging

    On the new MBP box does it say somewhere whether it is a Glossy Screen or Matte???

    don't believe so-- the part numbers are different though

    No, it's not on the packaging. Go on Apple's support site and put in the serial #.

    If it's glossy, it'll say so. If it's matte, it won't say anything.

    Thank you guys for your help.. I guess I just will have to wait to get my package.. The seller wasn't sure what it was...

    you bought one and are not sure which one it is? and neither is the person selling it?

    It says on the box. On the top of the box there's a list of the specs of the computer and it should say Glossy or Matte.

    Yes. Top of the box. 4th bullet point down.

    got my MBP as refurbished..
    so it's a brown box with no specs outside:D

    Hmmm, the previous ones didn't appear to have it. Eh well. Guess just check on the box. :p

    Mine is matte and does not list glossy or matte. Which makes sense as matte is the "default" -- glossy probably would be listed I suppose.
