Just bought a new apple watch series 3 alu. and when I looked on on my watches under light I noticed some marks under display, please could you tell me is this a normal thing or should I bring them back?

See the photo.

Based off what I'm seeing, I'm assuming you're referring to the little white specs? But being you just purchased it, you could exchange it for a new device or have Apple look at it.

Under the display there are a lot of marks as if from pressing by a nail, on a photo not all is visible, but they under the display, the surface of the display clean...just wonder how it is possible because they are just 1 week old and no schratches...they only visible under the direct light

Thanks for the clarification. It's possible it could be dust/debris embedded under the display during when it was manufactured, or minor nicks under the display, either way, I would exchange it for a new One.

Thank you very much! I will ask to change my device, this marks don't bother me but who knows how this will effect in future...

Are phisical Marks or only a Sun light reflex ?

It's like phisical marks which are seen only when the light falling on a screen

here is another photo> on the left side from a light circle (when the sun light and you are moving your hand there is a lot of marks under glass)

Ok , I have seen this issue only on a SS version. First time on alu series. I don’t know if it’s normal. I don’t understand how it’s possible to not see at quality control check .. Ask to apple for a replacement ..

If you're talking little marks, that are regular, on the edge of the display, somewhat like blunt saw teeth, I read somewhere that this was a known issue with some S3 Apple Watches. I can't remember exactly where I saw it, because I didn't have the issue on my S3SS, but you might take it to an Apple Store, and talk to them about it. I might have seen it on one of the Apple Facebook forums.

When you mass produce that many watches, not everyone of them is going to come out perfect from the factory. Especially given that the display so small, I don't everyone of them get inspected that closely. It happens. But the majority of Apple Watches likely have no problems or some Apple Watch owners would never notice what the OP noticed.

What you're referring to is known as the edge stripes concern that Apple acknowledged.

Update , I have just checked my AW 3 under sunlight , I have noticed a symilar pattern , not the same but symilar , the surface under the glass is not completely flat. I Think that it’s normal.
