Apps Question about native apps

I have an app, say Fantastical for the iPhone, and install it on the watch.

I go to the iPhone App Store and there's an update for Fantastical on the iPhone.
Will it update the native Fantastical app on the watch as well or do you have to uninstall and re-install on the watch?
