Question about non commitment, full price, iPhone purchases.

Don't know if anyone will know but I'll ask anyway. When buying an iPhone 4 at the full non commitment price will you have to prove that you're an AT&T subscriber when buying? I ask because I'm a T-mobile subscriber and I plan on buying an iPhone at full price and waiting for for an unlock hack to become available. Thanks!
