So I purchased numbers to do my football confidence pool picks in (they come on spreadsheets). The way it works, is a cell will have "Washington vs. Atlanta" for example, and I have to highlight one team. I can't figure out how to highlight just the word Atlanta or make just that word bold without doing it to the whole cell. Can anyone help please?:D

Sorry, probably not possible. You likely need to have them in separate cells. I just tried and couldn't do it. I'm not sure you can do it in Excel either.

How about putting them in separate cells/columns and merging the cell above them and call it "VS"?

Steve

In excel you can double click the cell to edit the text then in the formula/text box you can select just part of the text and click to bold or color or Bolger format option. Only that text will be modified. I bet numbers works the same.
