iPod touch Question about OS 4.2 and AirPlay..

I ordered a new iPod 64GB from Amazon today and was wondering if it came with 4.2 or 4.1? Concerning AirPlay, can you play a movie on your iPod from Apple TV or is it strictly one way, iPod to Apple TV?
Thanks for your help!
 
Airplay is only iPod to Apple TV. And remember only the new black Apple TV can do video. The old silver one can only do music.
