Does deleting photos in a device's photostream album delete the photo anywhere else, ie. on the camera roll of the device that took the picture or in any albums it's been moved to from the photostream?

I'm trying to clean up some redundant photos but I want to make sure I don't get red of them all together.

Thanks.

Yes it does.

Thanks for the response. Could you be a bit more specific. For example, let's say I took a picture on my iPhone. It now exists on the camera roll of my phone and the photostream of my iPad. Let's say I then add the photo to a separate album on my iPad. Therefore, the photo can now be found in 3 places: the camera roll of my iPhone, the photostream of my iPad, and the album on my iPad. If I delete the photo only in the photostream, will it be gone from BOTH of the other locations?

It should delete everywhere but the camera roll.

I'm not sure if that's correct. I've been testing it out and if the photos were also placed in a new album on the second device they seem to remain there after deleting them from the photostream.

It should be this:
iPhone photos get uploaded to stream which is on all devices for the last 1,000 pics and no videos.
Then you have Camera Roll where they are ALL stored videos and photos alike for all that space permits.
Deleting from Photo Stream will delete only from the list of 1,000 and will be reflected on both iPhone and iPad and any other device using the stream.
Deleting from Camera Roll will delete photos from the Photo Stream(if its within the last 1k of pics) AND the Album that the photo is stored in.

If you are concerned about which it will do when doing a single photo it will tell you where it is deleting from as well.
When only on Camera Roll and stored in Album:

When deleting from camera roll and its in the stream and an album:

Thank you, that's very helpful. It seems that deleting from the camera roll deletes it everywhere, but deleting from photostream only deletes from photostream (on all devices).
