I have a friend from Spain that bought Macbook Pro in Nov. 2006, he upgraded to Leopard and his machine is running ridulously slow. I checked his RAM and he has 1gb, I am thinking that this is the issue. I want to know how much capacity he has to upgrade.

He has a 2GHz Intel dual-core MBP. Not sure how else to describe, I think he needs to upgrade his RAM right away but not sure if his MBP allows 1gb, 2gb, or 4gb.

Put in 4 gigs to keep dual channel mode and to squeeze every last mb out of available ram. DDR2 is cheap.

Some of my favorite words...cheap and easy 😀
He'll see a tremendous change going from 1 GB to 4 GB RAM!
