Question about renewal

Hey, My apologies if this has been bought up before.

I need to renew my MobileMe next month and dont really want to pay 60 pounds for it, i have seen some on ebay for 40 pounds, but it says they are American, i would only buy 20GB single user in a box, my question is:

If i buy from the United States, will it work in the UK?
