I'm still within the 14 day period of a Macbook Pro purchase. When I connect a external monitor to my MBP it flashes in and out of "snow". It doesn't do it often but enough to cause some concern. I'd like to take it to the store and get my $ back.

I guess my question is are they going to want to hook it up to monitor there and check it? I mean, it doesn't happen all the time (so far 3 times in 10 days) so I'm not 100% sure it will happen if they do that.

I have all the original packaging and receipt and I'm still within 14 days....

P.S. sorry about title, it should read "Question and $ back"

they cant not take it back if its within the 14 days. you can just say that you would like to return it, get your money back, and buy another one the next day.

Thing is...I don't want to pay a restocking fee....

well then just remember to be nice and say that you are not 100% satisfied with your product. tell them the problem and in a nice way say that you would like it replaced. they will be much more willing to help if you act in this manner.
