Question about Restoring as a New Phone

If I restore my phone as if it were new, what all settings should i write down to put back in the phone?

Exchange info and what else?

Just swapped my phone out and restored it from a backup, but it doesn't seem quite as smooth as the original did, im assuming it's because it's from a backup.

All settings are gone if you "Restore as New"

It gives you a clean start. Contacts are found in Address Book. Exchange info has to be set up again. Wi-Fi passwords are gone. I hope you wrote them down somewhere.
