So I'm trying to capture my iPhone's iBEC and iBSS file as described by the Dev-Team's blog.
The thing is I bought my 16gb iPhone 3GS from eBay and it was already activated by the guy that sold it for me. (He signed a new contract at the ATT store and they activated for him)
I've been using it as an iPod Touch ever since because I'm waiting on a jailbreak unlock to release for this phone so I can use my T-mobile sim on it.
What I want to know is, if I do a restore or a DFU restore. Will the phone force me to activate it before I can use it as an iPod Touch again? Or am I locked out of the phone until a JB is released.
