I save video from YouTube and other parts of the internet for watching over and over again while on the treadmill, on a 12" iPad Pro.
I don't really care about the audio, just always interested in the most clear, crisp picture possible. Almost all of it is drone and aerial footage in high resolutions.
So in a fly over drone video, sometimes it's advertised as a 4K video, but by the time it's playing on my iPad it doesn't even look like it's in HD. I use iPull (it's an app for Mac) to "save" video, and I think it takes the best version possible.
What is the best app or method or resolution for saving video so that it plays in crisp detail on an iPad Pro 12"? Is there a resolution I should try to save video in, or a program that's better suited to grab such video?
Since I watch the videos so much, I'm happy to spend $ on any app or program for saving or converting or whatever. Time, bother, and cost are not factors in this case, just the best resolution possible.
Thanks in advance!
EDIT: much of what I already watch I buy on iTunes, since that almost always plays spectacularly on the iPad (of course) and the only reason I browse online is for new stuff that's not available through iTunes. It's important to me to download and save the video, since I have poor connection where I watch it.
