Question about selling Student bought Macbook Pro

I bought a 2010 model Macbook Pro with the Apple Student discount in May of last year, and it came with a free 3 year warranty which shows up when i enter the serial online.

My question is that if i was to sell it on eBay would the buyer be able to use this warranty without any trouble ? It seems as if it's tied to the hardware itself but i'm not entirely sure.

Entered the serial on there and it gave me the usual options you'd expect, seems like it'll be re-usable.
