I bought a 2010 model Macbook Pro with the Apple Student discount in May of last year, and it came with a free 3 year warranty which shows up when i enter the serial online.

My question is that if i was to sell it on eBay would the buyer be able to use this warranty without any trouble ? It seems as if it's tied to the hardware itself but i'm not entirely sure.

Sorry if this has been asked before.

    If you're referring to AppleCare:

Enter your serial number here: https://selfsolve.apple.com/GetWarranty.do
If it shows warranty remaining, it's transferable.

Entered the serial on there and it gave me the usual options you'd expect, seems like it'll be re-usable.

    Thanks bud. :D
