question about skype..

If you have a jailbroken iphone with skype, when someone calls you does the app let you know of the incoming call? Or does the skype app have to be running in the background in order to receive the call?

if its not running, how would it know a call is coming in?

With WinMo phone, it does not have to be running but lets you know when you receive a call...
