I have a MBA with a 120 gb sd hdd.

When I right click in finder on the main hdd (UNTITLED) it says it has a capacity of 120 gb with 82 gb available.

I go to copy a 26 gb iPod backup from another drive to my MBA and it keeps saying there isn't enough free space.

How can I get the most of my available 82 bg of space???

Do you happen to have Time Machine turned on on the Mac? That can use some space in a hidden folder for local snapshots. If you turn Time Machine off briefly, then back on it will clear off that space.
