So I cannot find this Anywhere and it's not. On apples site or any of the conferences ..

Does the stainless steel space black still have the diamond coating? Or is it all of the SS colors now or do NONE of them have it anymore. Love the look of the SD gold but afraid of scratches to the case.

Apple removed the DLC coating information when they launched the Series 2 space black Apple Watch. However, it was confirmed from another Member requesting Apple verify that the DLC coating is still present, which it is on the Series 2 and Series 3.

I think it’s safe to Assume they likely still have the DLC coating for the Series 4 space black, but there is no information identifying that yet.

Do you like the Gold SS is also with the DLC coating? I think DLC means Diamond Like CARBON coating, if yes, then it's only for the color black. Wonder how the color gold was put on the Gold SS?

I think DLC means Diamond Like CARBON coating

Please re-read what I wrote. DLC is abbreviated for, ‘diamond like carbon coating’. That’s why indicated in my post what DLC means multiple times. There is Only one abbreviation.

Another forum member asked an apple exec about the Series 4 SB and it is still DLC. The gold and SS is not.
