:apple: One Question:
If I buy a mac today (I am only buying it to use the :apple: SDK), will I be able to test the apps I developed on my iPod touch or iPhone? or will I have to wait until apple releases their new firmware update in June/July?

thanks for your help in advance...

Sure, but it will be using the simulator.

you can use the simulator included in the SDK, but cannot put software on the phone without joining the developer program for $99 (which at this time, few if anyone has been accepted into). Presumably you'd also have to be running the beta iPhone firmware on your phone as well.

You *could* jailbrake the phone, but the SDK applications will still not run on it (until the aforementioned firmware upgrade).
