Question about the in-video controls

This may sound stupid, but i liked the way the controls receded in the iOS 7 reveal video. They should slide out of view but instead disappear. Is this just a glitch on my 4S or did apple just forget to implement it?

BTW i tried submitting it as a bug but it gave me an error on the developer website

They disappear on my iphone 5... Maybe it'll be implemented by the GM release...

I'll be happy if they just restore the "chapter select" button we had in iOS 6.
