I got my 6 Plus at launch, and I've checked on Apple's website that mine is indeed eligible for the replacement. But the camera on my iPhone 6 Plus seems to work just fine.

So here's my question:
1. If my camera is working perfectly, will they be willing to replace it?
2. Since my iPhone is eligible for the replacement, does it mean the camera will fail eventually?

1. Yes, Apple will replace it as long as it falls within the recall eligibility.

2. No, not necessarily. The recall covers all cameras for that particular run of iPhone 6+ but not all cameras have a defect. It's up to you whether or not you want the camera replaced.

i had to show them that my camera was bad. i showed them one blurry pic i took earlier. i was worried that i couldn't demonstrate the camera error. they took it to the back room and came back and agreed to switch the camera out anyway.

it wasn't good enough to have the serial # , they wanted to see it for themselves

they did not replace the entire phone, they switched the camera out in an hour

This just happened to me last weekend. I've had my 6+ for about a year and a half now and the camera just stopped taking clear pictures. I was taking pics on the beach and p~~~~~~!; all of a sudden all blurry pictures. I made an appointment at the apple store near work so hopefully they'll resolve it and no issues. Anyone have a long ordeal out of this? I'm traveling to Europe next month and will be in need of a non-defective camera.
