So the official dimensions of Apple Watch are now available on Apple's site, and it looks like both the 38mm and 42mm cases will be 10.5mm deep. The fact that it's 1mm less than the original Pebble (which was 11.5mm deep) is surprising and impressive!

However, my question is: Do we assume this reported depth includes the sensor? If so, regardless of how thick it looks in the promotional material, I'm very happy with how thin Apple Watch actually is!

weirdly this is the first time I've given the thickness as much thought as I have the other dimensions.

I have the original pebble (and love it) but looking forward to the added functionality of the apple watch.

My watch sits 'loosely' on my wrist as it expands and shrinks depending on my body temp, so at least I know it will still look fairly svelte rather than bukly
