Question about Thunderbird settings

I recently had to do a backup and re-install.
Can anyone tell me if there is a file i need to update from my backup drive onto my system that will re-install all my old filters, addresses and messages etc or do i have to set everything up from scratch 😕

Copy your previous .default from ~/library/thunderbird/profiles into your current install.
