Question about transferring my music to my new MacBook...

I officially only use iTunes to download my music currently, but i used to use limewire. I'm a bit hesitant on transferring my limewire music over to my new mac because I definitely don't want to get any viruses. Considering that it is a Mac, what are the chances that I will get a virus? Also, what is the best way to transfer the music from my iPod? Thanks. 🙂

I just recently used Senuti to transfer music from my iPod to my Mac. As for viruses, look at the file extensions. That should give you a clue if you don't recognize the extension.

As long as you don't install anything, just transfer files and import to your iTunes library, then your chances of a virus are almost nil.
